The new terminal will allow for around three times more passengers to fly into the picturesque Bay of Islands. The terminal has more space for arrivals and departures, state-of-the-art baggage screening and a separate luggage collection area. It features a modern exterior with cedar facades and detailed precast panelling, including a living wall and artwork by local artists.
